Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Sahakari Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. is one of Maharashtra's leading cooperative sugar factories dedicated to serving sugarcane farmers. The factory crushes sugarcane and produces high-quality sugar, industrial alcohol (ethanol) and electricity through cogeneration.
It proudly holds the distinction of being India's first sugar factory named after Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar. It is also recognized as Maharashtra's first cooperative sugar factory to install a Mega Solar Power Project, promoting clean and renewable energy.
